The twenty-seventh edition of the poker tournament was held from the 21st of November until the 1st of December. The major highlights of the poker tournaments were definitely its € 10.000 No-Limit Hold’em High Roller, €4.000 No-Limit Hold’em and €25.000 No-Limit Hold’em Super High Roller Main Events. Action-Packed Master Classics of Poker Schedule

As every single year, the Master Classics of Poker 2019 boasted an impressive, action-packed gaming schedule. With so many great heads-up plays and so many successful professional poker players, there is no wonder why the Masters Classics of Poker is among the most eagerly anticipated poker events. The MCOP tournament started after the World Series of Poker Circuit Rotterdam crowned its champion.

This year’s High Roller event costs €9,800 while both the 2018 and 2017 editions of the event featured €10,300 buy-ins. The Master Classics of Poker 2017 High Roller event was won by Joris Ruijs who defeated a massive field of sixty-five entries and finally banked around €206,242 after defeating Ole Schemion. One year later, Hakim Zoufri defeated sixty-eight players to finally come from the heads-up game as the winner after defeating Jan Schwippert.

Nonetheless, is the Master Classics of Poker €4,300 Main Event that every poker player wants to win. This year’s MCOP Main Event came packed with two initial fights, with one packed with a turbo blind structure. Back in 2017, Claas Segebrecht was the winner of the Main Event and he banked around €235,087 while in 2018, Alberto Stegeman came as the reigning Master Classics of Poker Main Event winner who ultimately turned his €4,300 into a massive prize of €240,183.

The Master of Classics Poker €4,300 Main Event Final Table

When it comes to this year’s MCOP €4,300 Main Event final table, amazing Kevin Paqué started second-placed in terms of chips value. However, very soon Kevin took the lead after he went head to head with another amazing player, Pascal Vos. From here, Kevin Paqué put great pressure on every opponent, but still, two hours have passed before the very first player was eliminated from the final table and this was Ole Schemion.

Just one hand later, the second player was eliminated from the final table Shyngis Satubayev and player by player, the final table came down to only two players Steve O’Dywer and Kevin Paqué. The final table’s heads-up game started and Steve O’Dwyer soon later found his chip stack getting very short. He doubled up several times to lose to great Kevin Paqué in the very end. The Main Event lasted for over two and a half hours of a rather exciting heads-up game between the two players.

In the end, Kevin Paqué won the event with a flush draw that perfectly hit on the river. As the event’s first-placed player, Kevin Paqué banked €260,878 while Steve O’Dwyer won €174,421. The third-placed was Paraskevas Tsokaridis followed by Pascal Vos, Frederico Silva, Jan Bednar, Johan Rensink, Shyngis Satubayev, and Ole Schemion.
