Members of Kiss promote a new Biloxi casino resort

As reported several days ago by local news outlets, the frontman for one of the most iconic American rock bands, Kiss formed in 1973 will be in the city of Biloxi, Mississippi next week to help with promoting a plan which could see this area becoming home to a brand-new casino resort. Paul Stanley who formed the band alongside Ace Frehley, Peter Criss and Gene Simmons is a promoter of the newly devised plan which could see the former Margaritaville Casino and Restaurant site being transformed into a new casino resort named Rock and Brews.

According to one report by the Sun Herald local newspaper, the sixty-eight-year-old rocker will be performing with his crew at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum on the 15th of March. He will use this opportunity to attend a ribbon-cutting ceremony which is held for the Biloxi’s Point Cadet neighborhood. The same newspaper also reported that the frontman of Kiss founded the Rock and Brews chain of restaurants with his bandmate Simmons back in 2012. Since its inception, Rock and Brews debuted across seventeen locations in Mexico and the United States.

Rock and Brews Partnering with the Kaw Nation

Rock and Brews founded in 2012 is a popular American restaurant chain which today focuses on cuisine comfort food in addition to serving the specific location’s cuisine for different communities. The company’s business model has retained a family-friendly concept since its inception. After debuting across seventeen locations in Mexico and the USA, the enterprise announced its plans which will help the brand expand in other directions.

As revealed three years ago, Rock and Brews is working on partnering with the Kaw Nation federally-recognized tribe in hopes to open a casino resort Rock and Brews in the community of Braman, north-central Oklahoma. According to the Sun Herald newspaper, the Rock and Brews enterprise has already inked a letter of intent with the RAM Group Management company back in November. According to this business deal, the two entities will work side by side on bringing a casino resort worth around $200 million to the site which once was home to the Margaritaville Casino and Restaurant.

The Margaritaville Casino and Restaurant opened in 2012. This Biloxi venue occupying 68,000 square feet closed in September of 2014. Today, the interested investors are hoping to be given necessary permissions and consent to open a brand-new three-hundred room development on the same plot. As envisioned, this development will feature a 40,000 square feet casino area alongside several concert venues, a parking garage and a swimming pool. The development is envisioned as a unique amenity that would attract visitors from across the USA.

The Mississippi Ceremony Scheduled for the 5th of March

Commenting on the news, Tim Moore working for the RAM Group Management company revealed to the newspaper that Paul Stanley will probably schedule a new meeting for the Mississippi ceremony on the 5th of March which will be attended by the Rock and Brews Chief Executive Officer Adam Goldberg. Tim Moore also reportedly said to the Sun Herald newspaper that the investors had met with the state’s Gaming Commission.

Furthermore, he revealed that the investors plan to follow up on the public ribbon-cutting ceremony by officially joining the application and permitting process after the Rocks and Brews company submits its application to the Mississippi Gaming Commission for consent to take further steps and proceed with construction.
