According to the official press release, IGT Global Solutions Corporation has prolonged its agreement with the Kansas Lottery. Due to agreement extension, subsidiary of International Game Technology PLC will have an opportunity to continue providing IGT’s INTELLIGEN™ central computer system and services to monitor electronic gaming machines, covering all the state. Initially, the deal was made in 2008 as an award to IGT, and with the latest development, it’s planned to extend on December 15th, 2019 with an expiration date set on December 14th, 2019.

Jay Gendron, IGT Chief Operating Officer, North America Lottery explained that they’ve made a great partnership with Kansas Lottery over the years. The extension of the agreement only makes them happy and it will supply about 5000 electronic gaming machines with their system. He also conveyed that INTELLIGEN™ system has over 20 years of gathered experience and knowledge, making it one of the best tools for their users.
Stephen Durrell, Kansas Lottery Acting Executive Director contributed by saying that thanks to a deal made in 2008, Kansas Lottery had had IGT’s INTELLIGEN™ system to lean on in order to fulfill the highest standards when it comes to security and fair play. Furthering this collaboration is the best course and they’re looking forward to it.
