According to one report made several days ago by the Reuters service, the betting operator has revealed its latest partnership deal made with the GEK Terna company which is a prominent Greek construction company. In the same report it was revealed that Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment has partnered with the Greek company in order to lodge a bid which would see the two companies bring a land-based betting facility to a planned $9 billion for redevelopment of the country’s Ellinikon International Airport which is located around four miles of the central area of Athens.

One of the World’s Biggest Gambling Facilities since 1996

Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment emerged on the scene back in 1996 under its former name of Mohegan Sun Rose. Everything started in Connecticut and soon after its emergence on the scene, Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment became of the most favorite gambling facilities of this kind not only in its Connecticut but in the United States.

Apart from its mesmerizing size, the casino also offers a truly rich entertainment experience which combines a number of different elements apart from gambling activities such as shopping, dining, professional sporting activities as well as all kinds of entertainment shows and much more which are carefully crafted to engage all customers with all personalities. Hence, the company’s gambling facility is much more than a casino, but it is a one-of-a-kind place with all sorts of entertainment activities which are uniquely taken to a whole another level.

Soon after emerging on the scene, Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment has brought this experience across its state’s borders starting with Mohegan Sun Pocono which was opened in Pennsylvania then. The company is also active in one of the biggest gambling capitals, Atlantic City as well in Washington State where it opened a spectacular gambling and entertainment Ilani Resort. It should be noted that Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment is present outside the state’s borders in South Korea.

Multiple Proposals Already Arrived

The Reuters service reported that the Greece government has already given one local company named Lamda Development necessary permission to transform the site in question into a resort which could potentially boast luxury residences and hotels alongside a gambling facility and a marina. Reportedly, this plan is backed by another company from Abu Dhabi named Eagle Hills. As reported, another company named Fosun Group from China is also backing up the plan.

Either way, companies which are interested in running gambling activities at this site have until the end of this month to officially submit their business plans and ideas. It was also reported that the winning bidder for the country’s newest gambling facility will be also granted a thirty-year license for as long as the company agrees to invest around $33.7 million of their money in building this envisioned casino.

One of the companies interested in this deal is definitely Mohegan Gaming and Entertainment whose Chief Executive Officer stated that his company is delighted with their latest partnership deal with GEK Terna. He also added that if the company’s future plans about building and operating new casino come to life, thousands of new jobs and business opportunities with multiple benefits will emerge on the scene for the entire Greek community.
