Since its beginnings, the Series has grown to become the biggest series of poker tournaments which as of this year includes one hundred and one poker events. With so many events included, the WSOP 2020 features all of the major poker variants while half of these events are actually Texas Hold’em variants. Events of the WSOP take place during several consecutive days in June and July. Nonetheless, since 2008, the Main Event final table took place in November while in 2016, the final table of the WSOP took place in October due to the USA presidential election.
The Fifty-Second Edition of the World Series of Poker
The WSOP 2020 will be the event’s fifty-second edition since its inception. Originally, the WSOP 2020 was scheduled to start on the 26th of May at the iconic Rio All-Suite Hotel and Casino venue in Las Vegas, but it will not take place until the fall due to the growing coronavirus crisis. This online poker tournament series will be debuting on the poker network and all participants can expect to comes across hundreds of excellent tournament events. The event’s organizers have already revealed some details regarding the upcoming WSOP Super Circuit Online Series poker tournaments.
Participating poker players will compete in a multitude of poker events with eighteen headliners that will offer a WSOP Circuit ring to the crowned winner. In addition to offering loads of live poker tournaments, the upcoming WSOP Circuit Online Series will also offer two invitational tournaments to the greatest World Series of Poker Global Championship. This is another bracelet tournament. Moreover, during the online poker series, the crowned winner of the Super Circuit Online Series Main Event and the series leader in points will also earn the WSOP Global Championship invitation.
World Series of Poker Super Circuit Online Series Kicking Off in May
As revealed by the organizers, the World Series of Poker Super Circuit Online Series is kicking off in those early days of May and it will continue for three weeks. Interested players can expect to see the whole schedule for the Super Circuit Online Series released very soon. According to an official press release, the series will take place at the GGPoker Network and poker players from around the globe will be able to participate from the coziness of their home. GGPoker Network’s players will be able to qualify for the upcoming events via loads of satellite tournaments which will feature lower buy-ins.
