DraftKings will be launching online sports betting in New Hampshire

As reported several days ago, New Hampshire has finally given green signal online and mobile sports betting within its borders. One of the most prominent American online sportsbetting operators DraftKings Incorporated announced that New Hampshire-based sports betting fans who are at least eighteen years old are finally able to use the operator’s services including enjoying its impressive selection of mobile and online sports betting activities.

The Boston-based company used its official press release in order to share that it has finally gone live in New Hampshire after a launch event from several days ago which involved The Granite State’s Governor Mr. Sununu placing the very first ceremonial bet on the New England Patriots which compete in Super Bowl LIV. DraftKings as one of the leading players in the industry emerged on the scene back in 2012. The company was founded by Paul Liberman, Marr Kalish, and Jason Robins.

DraftKings Launching Its New Jersey Sportsbook

Today, the company employs around nine hundred professionals in different fields. This sports betting and fantasy sports provider allows its customers to enter weekly and daily fantasy sports as well as bet on the individual team and player performances in all five major North American sports including the PGA, the NBA, the NFL, the NHL, and MLB. Moreover, the company’s sports betting platform covers other major sports and leagues including NASCAR, UEFA Champions, Premier League, tennis, mixed martial arts, the Arena Football League, Canadian Football League and much more.

Back in August of 2018, DraftKings Incorporated launched its New Jersey-friendly sportsbook which became the very first fully legalized mobile and online sports betting site in the state. Since launching its New Jersey sportsbook, DraftKings Incorporated has expanded across several other states including West Virginia, Pennsylvania, and Indiana. After partnering with the New Hampshire Lottery which oversees online and mobile sports betting activities in the state, the company is ready to launch its New Hampshire-friendly sportsbook.

DraftKings as the Exclusive Operator for the State Lottery

As revealed by the company’s officials, DraftKings Incorporated announced that it inked an important business deal that will see the company serve as the exclusive New Hampshire Lottery operator. The news came following an extremely competitive bidding process which was completed last month. In its official press releases regarding this matter, the company’s officials also revealed that anyone who is at least eighteen years old residing in the state of New Hampshire can legally engage in mobile and online sports betting activities at DraftKings.

Those who decide to register at New Hampshire-friendly DraftKings sportsbook will be able to lodge bets on an impressive array of sports events and contests from the National Basketball League, National Football League, National Hockey League and much more. The state of New Hampshire has just become the sixth US state to have finally legalized sports betting activities in 2019.

Commenting on the news, the New Hampshire Lottery Executive Director Charlie McIntyre said that this alliance with DraftKings also includes a certain provision that will involve the sports betting operator handling slightly over 50% of its locally generated revenues. In other words, the operator will handle a portion of its gross gaming revenues generated from its Android and iOS-friendly sportsbook app as well as from its online sportsbook. In his official press releases, Charlie McIntyre also added that this is a massive milestone as well as a truly exciting moment for the state and for the New Hampshire Lottery which now features an even bigger and better product portfolio.
