JACK Entertainment Partnering with GAN to Support Casino Gaming and Sportsbetting in Ohio
Ohio online gambling to receive support from JACK Entertainment and GAN

One of the leading racetrack and casino operators in the industry, JACK Entertainment has partnered with B2B software supplier and developer for the iGaming industry, GAN. The main purpose of this business agreement is to deploy the GAN gaming and entertainment platform to support online casino and sportsbetting in the state of Ohio.

At the moment, the JACK Entertainment company operates two prominent Ohio-based facilities, JACK Cleveland Casino located in downtown Cleveland and even more popular JACK Thistledown Racing which is a gaming and racing property located in North Randall. JACK Entertainemnt LLC formerly known by its name of Rock Gaming LLC between 2009 and 2016 is a hospitality, gaming and entertainment corporation with its headquarters in Detroit, the state of Michigan.

Besides owning and operating hotels and casinos in Ohio and Michigan, the company also owns a stake of prominent properties located in Maryland and Kentucky. Furthermore, JACK Entertainment also operates a Rock Ventures LLC subsidiary. As previously mentioned, the company was known as Rock Gaming LLC at the time of its inception in 2009. It was founded by Dan Gilbert and several other businessmen.

Partnering with Caesars Entertainment Corporation

In December of 2010, JACK Entertainment partnered with one of the leading casino and hotel operators Caesars Entertainment Corporation. Thanks to this partnership deal, JACK Entertainment established Rock Ohio Caesars which later on opened and operates casinos in Cincinnati and Cleveland. While JACK Entertainment held the majority stake in the newly founded company, Caesars held a twenty percent stake.

Two years after its establishment, the company opened its very first Ohio-based casino named Horseshoe Casino Cleveland. Then, in April of 203, the company opened Ohio’s fourth casino facility Horseshoe Casino Cincinnati. On the 26th of August one year later, the company’s Horseshoe Casino Baltimore opened its doors to the public thanks to partnership deals made by Caesars, Rock Gaming and several other local investors. Several more important partnership happened before the company changed its name to JACK Entertainment in 2016.

Extension of GAN and JACK Entertainment’s Existing Partnership Deal

When it comes to the company’s newly penned real-money gambling and sportsbetting deal with GAN, it represented an extension to the two companies’ already existing partnership deal. In fact, JACK Entertainment has already been one of the main GAN’s popular Simulated Enterprise Platform clients since October of 2016. This platform has been driving the company’s playJACK.com casino operations.

With the two companies deciding to expand their partnership deal, GAN will initiate delivering its Simulated Gaming Enterprise Platform alongside its United States-patented iBridge Framework to the casino’s management system which is deployed by the JACK Entertainment company at its Ohio-based properties. Under the terms of this newly penned deal, GAN will also operate its gaming platform using extensive instar-State infrastructure which is fully deployed in Ohio.

These news regarding the extended partnership deal between the two companies came shortly after the casino operators announced that the company’s officials agreed to join forces with one of the leading sportsbetting providers Kambi with the main goal of deploying its products related to sportsbetting in the case of sports wagering becoming legal in the state of Ohio in the near future.

Commenting on the extended deal, the JACK Entertainment’s COO Mr. Bermand said that this business deal once again demonstrates the amazing value of GAN-crafted technology platform that offers all of its clients the ability to construct their online gaming communities well in advance of iGaming regulations. The regulation and legalization of real-money sportsbetting are under discussion in the state of Ohio Legislature. Nonetheless, it seems that the practice will take at least one more year to be fully authorized.
