Pennsylvania Ready for Online Gambling Launch
Pennsylvania Online Casinos Launching

The state of Pennsylvania is only several hours away from its very first online gambling launch. This way, Pennsylvania is about to become the fourth US state with a fully regulated online gambling industry. What is even more, two of the state’s thirteen land-based casinos are ready to soft-launch their online gambling operations. In other words, the state’s residents will finally be allowed to get their hands on online table games and online slots.

The two state’s casinos which are ready to soft-launch their digital operations are Parx Casino and Hollywood Casino located at Penn National Race Course. In the hours to home, the two brick and mortar casinos are set to launch testing of their digital operations which will be checked by the state’s Gaming Control Board. The state’s regulator has already stated that this testing period will last between two and three days at least.

Hollywood Casino Going Live with Digital Gambling

The very first property to go fully live with fully regulated digital gambling is Hollywood Casino. The casino’s soft-launch of its digital operations was set for 11 am at local time. This land-based casino offers more than two thousand slot games as well as more than sixty table games. There is also a live poker room included for all fans of poker games.

When it comes to the casino’s video slots and video poker games, they accept bets from only one penny to $100. Here, players can try their luck on all sorts of video slots as well as video poker games such as Tarzan, Lightning Cash, Crazy Monkey, Money Rain, Monopoly, Dancing Foo, Lunar Festival, Star Watch Crescent and much more.

There is also an amazing selection of mega-popular slot games available at Hollywood Casino including Penny Barn, Poseidon, Stinkin’ Rich, The Price is Right Plinko Jackpots, Gold Rush, Goldfish, Leprechaun’s Gold, Monopoly Wheel, The Walking Dead and Lucky Larry’s Lobstermania 2. Besides loads of slot games, the casino is also home to live poker tournaments, poker cash games and much more. The best part is that some of these games will be available online as soon as the state’s regulator approves the casino’s soft-launch testing operations.

Parx Casino’s Online Gaming Testing Period Also Kicking In

As previously mentioned, the second land-based casino to soft-launch its digital operations is Parx Casino. Parx Casino is another impressive gaming destination offering hundreds of games including loads of video slots, table games, video poker games, keno and much more. Both of the casino’s testing periods will take place around eight hours per day over the course of two to three days.

In the case of the state’s regulator being happy with how the testing period went, Parx Casino and Hollywood Casino will be allowed to launch their complete, full-scale online gaming operations. At first, the two casinos will be allowed to offer their players online table games and online slots and later on add more games. Following the news, the state’s regulator’s spokesperson Douglas Harbach said that the two casinos will be eventually allowed to offer online poker games as online poker is legal in the state as long as it involves playing against other human players.

Besides Hollywood Casino and Parx Casino, the state’s SugarHouse Casino which is being re-branded as Rivers Casino is also set to launch its digital gaming product shortly. As with the other two casinos, the SugarHouse Casino’s testing period will also last at least two days. It is also worth mentioning that SugarHouse Casino and Parx Casino were the state’s very first gambling destinations to go live with their online sportsbetting operations several weeks ago.
